			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Volvo group, owner of Mack trucks, is not expecting a turn-around in heavy truck sales in the United States in 2008, or a reduction of oil prices.</p>
<p>Truck sales in the U.S. have taken a hit due to the high gas prices and reduction in construction work. Volvo&#8217;s truck division has around 15% of the market in the U.S.</p>
<p>There is speculation outside of Volvo that sales may increase late 2008 and into 2009 as drivers prepare for the tougher emission standards coming in 2010.</p>
<p>Time will tell.</p>
