Oeko-Tex textiles have given the proof of cleanliness to Volvo, declaring all their cars are made with allergy free materials. Volvo began back in 1998 producing internal components that met these rigorous standards. According to Volvo: Oeko-Tex Association is a partnership of 14 textile research and test institutes in Europe and Japan. A wide range of products are inspected and analyzed. All the textiles inside the passenger compartment are tested, such as the roof lining, floor mats, luggage compartment mats, upholstery, door panels, leather-trimmed steering wheels and seat belts.

So what? Only one company gives Volvo the all clean? Nope – The Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association recommends four Volvo models to the asthma and runny nose suffering public: S80, V70, XC70 and XC60.
