Volvo Makes Drivers Immortal by 2020

By the time your kids are behind the wheel you won’t have to worry about them getting hurt or killed in any accident, as long as you buy them a Volvo that is. Volvo will be dishing out a bit of on road immortality as they revealed plans to launch an autonomous system that will regulate the speed of the vehicle and constantly keep it away from cars in front of it. This system will revolve around radar built into the car, which will be able to detect objects (people, cars, animals, etc) that are about to step in front of the vehicle. The brakes will automatically activate, either stopping or giving you extra time to react. The initiative is being headed by Thomas Broberg, safety expert at Volvo Cars. They plan to have it in select Volvo models by 2020.
