Volvo V70 Pickup Concept
If a Volvo had a baby with an old school El Camino it would breed this interesting concept: the Volvo V70 Pickup. This rendering by Vizualtech’s Bo Zolland has Volvo fans frothing at the mouth for the manliest of all Volvo’s ever built! Let’s hope the execs give it considerable thought.

With a front end of a S40 and the rear of an El Camino, this Volvo design theory may only be a 3D project right now, but who knows what is in store down the road. Vizualtech has worked on a variety of futuristic vehicle renderings in the past, and Volvo has had success (overseas, at least) with their larger truck market.

Mean looking air intakes and additional hood vents give the V70 quite a bit of attitude. The obvious change are the rear features: a pickup bed with a flush mounted tailgate, integrated rear exhaust pipes, and Volvo taillights.

Accoding to World Car Fans: As envisioned by Zolland, the rear-wheel drive V70 pickup would be powered by the Volvo XC90′s V8 engine that produces 311 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Sounds good to us!

nice it would be awesome to have one big volvo fan
